Purina Tidy Cats Clumping Litter 24/7 Performance

I purchased Purina Tidy Cats Clumping Litter 24/7 Performance at my local grocery store after they ran out of my usual brand. Though this litter is for multiple cats, and I only have one furry bean, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have less cats than advertised. The reason why I chose this litter over others is the advertised Triple Odor Protection. And though the litter works just as well as any other litter I’ve purchased, the smell that comes from the box is overwhelming. Whatever the perfume or masking odor they use to cover the cat smell definitely works, but I think probably too well. The smell of it is overpowering and permeates through the room so you can smell it in the hallway. It masks the urine smell, but the smell it does give off is still harsh and unappealing itself.

I am thinking that this litter would be perfect for multiple cats, but I definitely made an error in judgement purchasing this for just one.
